All right it’s me talking about me here! I can’t deny it! But my God these are exciting times. Not only am I so proud to have written Joe’s book – I’m now about to support him on tour (at least that’s how it seems at the moment for some dates!). But before all of that… I’m bringing my electro acoustic act – really nice melodic and party stuff – CMC – and my SOLO act to Joe’s AFTER THE AWARD party night!! YES!! There will be me – plus quite probably my duo partner Mick, and also with a little luck Kev, and maybe even acoustic bass player Peter! Full line-up to be confirmed BUT a great singalongy/dancingy kind of late night fun event … be great if as many of Joe’s fans could be there. I hear tickets for this could be going at a tenner! It’s straight after the main event of the evening and capacity is about 200 for where it’s to be held – so come along!!! If you like stuff such as American Pie; I Love To Boogie with a lot of Rock n Roll; Gotta Get A Message To You; Brown Eyed Girl; Califonia Dreamin’; Walk of Life; Stuck in the Middle With You; with the odd bum fondler thrown in – like Wonderful Tonight – then you’ll love this.

I’m playing masses of dates this month – as usual – this time with CMC/SOLO events …. plus four with the charity fund raising concerts titled THE SINGING FARMERS….

THIS FRIDAY 12 MARCH :   THE MEXBOROUGH ARMS, THORNER, nr LEEDS   (9pm)  This one is going to be a packed night! Players on the evening will be myself – guitarist Kev Smith; singer/guitarist Mick Clark – just back from Spain; and singer Mandy Perry.

THIS SUNDAY 14 MARCH:  APPLEBY PUBLIC HALL (2.30pm) - Appleby in Westmorland. This is the first of 4 Singing Farmers Concerts for 2010 featuring solo spot from me as well as four other singers. (Tickets £12)

WEDNESDAY 17 MARCH:  BBC RADIO HUMBERSIDE – THE LARA KING SHOW (10am) - I will be playing a couple of songs and chatting about FOG, CMC, SOLO STUFF and JOE LONGTHORNE’S BOOK

FRIDAY 19 MARCH:  THE HILTON HOTEL, BLACKPOOL (after the Award Evening party – CHRIS BERRY SOLO and WITH OTHERS from CMC (Tickets £10)

SATURDAY 20 MARCH:  THE FOX & HOUNDS, Langthorpe, BOROUGHBRIDGE (9.30pm) – a really great CMC night with myself & Mick – probably playing TOTALLY UNPLUGGED for a fair bit of the night. INTIMATE ATMOSPHERE great country venue.

SUNDAY 21 MARCH:  KIRKBYMOORSIDE MEMORIAL HALL, Kirkbymoorside, North York Moors (2.30pm)  Second Singing Farmers concert of the 4. This one is already SOLD OUT. (Tickets were £12!!)

TUESDAY 23 MARCH:  CALENDAR – ITV APPEARANCE (6pm) with Joe Longthorne. Interview regarding Joe’s book with the pair of us.

WEDNESDAY 24 MARCH:  HULL & EAST RIDING LITERARY LUNCH  (12.30pm) @ WILLERBY MANOR HOTEL, WILLERBY, HULL – I’m interviewing JOE about the book. I’m also scheduled to interview Pauline Prescott.

FRIDAY 26 MARCH:  ALLERTONSHIRE SCHOOL, NORTHALLERTON (7.30pm) 3rd Singing Farmers Concert…SOLD OUT (Tickets were £12)

SUNDAY 28 MARCH:  DARLEY MEMORIAL HALL, DARLEY in NIDDERDALE (2.30pm) 4th Singing Farmers Concert (Tickets £12)

FRIDAY 2 APRIL – GOOD FRIDAY:  THE BUFFERS, SCHOLES nr LEEDS – back with my rock covers/functions band FOG – sure to be a massive night!
